The African Food Research Network (AfREN) is pleased to welcome Omolara Oladunni Oyinlola as a Finance and Account Executive Intern, where she will support the network’s financial administration, membership subscription management, and ethical financial record keeping.

Omolara is a results-oriented accountant with over ten years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and data analysis. She is currently pursuing graduate studies at the University of Oulu in Finland, bringing together strong academic insight and practical expertise in financial systems and strategic decision-making.

She graduated with First-Class Honours from Ajayi Crowther University, reflecting her commitment to excellence, discipline, and professional growth.

Omolara possesses strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, SAP, and financial data analytics, enabling her to transform complex financial information into clear and actionable insights that support accountability and operational efficiency. Over the course of her career, she has developed expertise in financial management, audit support, budgeting processes, and financial system optimization across diverse organizational environments.

At AfREN, Omolara will contribute to maintaining transparent and well-organized financial records, supporting membership subscription tracking, and assisting with the financial management of AfREN projects and programs, including activities related to the AfREN Annual Summit and research initiatives.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Omolara is a proud mother of two who enjoys traveling, connecting with people, and nurturing her passion for teaching and knowledge sharing.
