Meet Ojuola Oloruntobiloba, a Food Scientist, food entrepreneur, and agro-processing professional with over a decade of experience working across food-processing startups, product development, value addition, and the industrialization of indigenous Nigerian foods.
He holds a B.Sc. in Food Science and Technology from Obafemi Awolowo University and an M.Sc. in Food Technology from the University of Ibadan. He currently serves as Head of Operations/Managing Partner at Leky Snacks Co. Ltd., where he is involved in value addition and the global utilization of yam, while also serving as CEO of Ojut Agro-Processing Firm, a startup focused on developing and promoting indigenous foods.
His journey offers a compelling perspective for our conversation: how do we move from generating knowledge about Africa’s food resources to creating value from them?
At AfREN’s forthcoming talk series, “Beyond Laboratory: Investing Our Equity in Africa’s Food Future,” Ojuola will bring an important practitioner-entrepreneur perspective.
