Ebele has a Master’s degree in Quality control and Assurance. Her PhD research is about understanding the processing and preservation of African Catfish to address the issues of post-harvest losses associated with fish in Nigeria.
She is currently a Ph.D student and lecturer at the Department of Food Science and Technology, University of Nigeria Nsukka.
She enjoys doing research and interacting with students. Ebele also has experience working in the food industry as a product development technologist.Her research interests lies in quality control and assurance, food analysis, food microbiology and animal food products technology. Her works resonates with food Safety concerns with regards to heavy metals, antibiotics, pesticide residues in fish and other contaminants associated with smoked fish products.
